The PSP will now host even more sessions of games to accommodate the masses of teams wanting to compete in the greatest event of the year, the October 21 – 24, 2010 PSP World Cup held at Fantasy of Flight in Polk City, FL!
There is now a Friday Session for Division 3/Division 4 Race-To-2, at $1000 instead of $1100. These spots will be limited based on field availability, and first-come, first serve.
The PSP has also added a Division 2 RaceTo-2 session for Saturday, so if you are playing in RaceTo-4 or RaceTo-5 and get knocked out of the tournament early, you can compete again on Saturday! D2 RaceTo-2 allows one D1 player but only counts as D3 for classification purposes. This is the only RaceTo-2 division open to players on RaceTo-4/5/7 teams. Just sign your team up now, and the PSP will call your designated teammate on Friday evening (October 22, 2010) to confirm whether you want to play or not.
Registration for all divisions is now open, but the price will increase in 9 days on September 17, 2010. For more information, viisit www.pspevents.com or email info@pspevents.com to see how you can play, watch or sell at the 2010 PSP World Cup!
In previous seasons, all players needed to be at least 40 years old to compete in the PSP Masters Division. This year, all players 40 years or older (by October 21, 2010) may play in this division, but Masters teams may also field up to two players per point who are at least 30 years old, provided those players are using mechanical markers only. The players who are at least 40 years of age do not need to use a mechanical marker.
This division will be a RaceTo-4 format following the rules of D3 RaceTo-4. Rosters will be capped at 10 players and 5 staff members. Registration is now open for the Master’s Division with the team entry fee of $1800 (until Friday, September 17th. The price will then increase to $1950).
The PSP World Cup is the largest paintball tournament of its kind in the world. This year’s event will be held October 21 – 24, 2010 at Fantasy of Flight in Polk City, Florida. Visit www.pspevents.com or email info@pspevents.com to see how you can play, watch or sell at the 2010 PSP World Cup.

WCPPL RaceTo: PSP Affiliate League
The WCPPL is proud to announce it’s affiliation as the regional tournament series of the PSP representing the west coast offering the RaceTo- format that has become by far the most fun, exciting, and action filled format provided to date. MESSAGE FROM MIKE HINMAN
First off Thank You to all of the people that have supported me in all of my paintball endeavors. It hasn’t been an easy road but one that I’m glad that I have chosen to travel down. I can truly say that I have done it all in paintball and feel that for me I have nothing left to prove as a player having won three Pro World Championships and as a Coach having won multiple National Championships in Semi Pro, D1, D2, and D3.
As a Promoter of the WCPPL I have and will continue to give more back to the West Coast regional teams than ANY other West Coast league has ever done. The WCPPL has made tournament paintball both fun, affordable, and competitive. I grew up playing locally in California always saying “If I had my own league, I would do it different”! And I have. What we have built is becoming sustainable and will be able to weather this current economic crisis. Thanks to all your support!
AFTERMATH ARENAS
As a Promoter of a tournament and paintball field, The Aftermath Arenas at SC Village, I will try to make paintball fun. Is there competition for the tournament field crowd? Yes. This will only drive the quality of the conditions for the players up. No field is perfect and I don’t claim that mine will be either, but I will give it my 100 percent. With two “RaceTo-” and one big walk-on Airball fields, I can say it will be the place to be.
And yes, I will be helping local players reach the level of competition that they wish to achieve in Paintball.
Yes I love paintball!

The CFOA is pleased to announce the release of the first event’s Player Accolades and Statistics. As promised, the CFOA is tracking individual player statistics as well as team statistics in the D2 RaceTo-X Division. For the first time ever, players will be able to compare their performance against other players in the league as well as compete for any one of the numerous Player Accolades each event.
Player Accolades, found only in the CFOA, reward an individual player’s performance based on the raw statistical data taken at the events. The Accolades awarded for the first event range from “Unstoppable” (most points won in a row) to “Marathon Man” (highest average points played per match). Congratulations to Robbie Bendig of Carolina Lockdown for achieving the CFOA’s first ever “Most Valuable Player” (most points won on the 1st place team)!
The CFOA hopes to provide statistics for more divisions in both the RaceTo-X and RaceTo-2 formats as the season progresses. In addition to Accolades, check the website for the upcoming release of the CFOA Leaderboard which ranks players according to a number of factors including their individual winning percentage as well as the results of their team.
