Well we have moved the teams home bases to a much nicer place for both teams so that players will be very close to there air and paint when needing to reload. We have also taken the pipe field and moved it into the woods for more cover so while attacking the cities players will have better cover to advance or to defend if you have the city. We still have allot of moving to do with the pipes and we have removed allot of the old wooden bunkers from the field (in my woodstove now) so the woods is looking allot cleaner ! The new no fly zone is really easy this year to see and there can’t be any mistakes about whether you are invading there space or not and remeber the no fly zone is for the safety of the player along with a place to reinsert without being ambushed by players just waiting, so make sure you don’t cross the boundry. This year the no fly zone will be marked with lots of blue & blueish green plastic barrels and can’t be missed as the only place with plastic barrles will be the no fly zone ! Yes you can still shoot into the no fly zone or be shot from it and the home bases are plenty far away from the action.
We are not sure yet whether there will be 2 or 3 cities as it will depend on the turnout but we are ready for whatever amount of players show up ! The plan right now is to run 2 cities and they will be the 2nd and 3rd cities as they will be the farthest from the no fly zones and it will make for a great battle and players shot out or that need to reload on air or paint will just need to return to there home bases and from there they will be right by the air (except co2). Well I am looking forward to this Sunday and hopefully getting some nice pictures to add to the ones I have !

so far we have over 50 confirmed players for this just show up event and I think that we will pass the 100 player mark if the weather holds true as it is supposed to be perfect paintball weather sunday (70 and partly sunny) !

Scenario Woodsball Paintball Organization (SWPO) Holds Successful Charity Event at Warplay Paintball to Raise Money for Hospice Care

The not-for-profit organization SWPO & Warplay Paintball raise funds for hospice in the largest event ever played at Warplay paintball.
Washington, D.C. – Over this past weekend, the not-for-profit Scenario Woodsball Paintball Organization (SWPO) based out of Washington D.C., hosted a charity event at Warplay Paintball in Locust Grove, VA. The event turned out to be the largest ever held at Warplay Paintball and the first ever to support hospice care for the millions of Americans that utilize hospice every year.
The event, largely regarded as a huge success, raised a substantial amount of funds in donations as well as sponsorships and raffles at the event. People from all over Maryland, Virginia, D.C., Delaware and even as far as West Virginia came to participate in the charity competition. All SWPO proceeds for this event were donated directly to the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO).
Hospice care in America has been facing several cuts over the past few years, and community support is needed to ensure that the Medicare Hospice Benefit enacted by Congress in 1982 is protected. Warplay Paintball, known for its aggressive play style was founded by former U.S. Marine Tor Strom. The field has a fitting motto of “All paintball fields were not created equal” which greets players as they enter the park. As the motto implies, Warplay is a field that competes with the best of them, with its well designed structures and the ability to adjust to multiple match formats, the park has accumulated an almost cult like status amongst local players.
The Scenario Woodsball Paintball Organization, a not-for-profit organization formed in 2008, is an active contributor to the local Woodsball scene. The organization hosts scenario paintball events, works with charities to raise money, helps fields to promote their own events, and is also working on a scenario Woodsball league. The SWPO’s main mission is to promote the sport of paintball in the D.C., Maryland and Virginia region by supporting local fields and stores and using new and innovative ways to attract new players to the sport. SWPO is the largest not-for-profit organization representing Woodsball players, fields, and stores in the MD, D.C., and Northern Virginia area. The organization is becoming well known for their objective based scenarios and aggressive play style as well as their ability to attract new players to the sport.

“Art Chaos Moscow Team has been founded in the year of 2007. Our team is not big, but what is more important, we have a strong spirit and the will to win! The team includes six professional paintball players, professional trainer and team manager. We love our city of Moscow, where we have an excellent permanent field for training!

From the early days the team’s main objective was to achieve high results in international tournaments as well as in Russia.
