PBUprising photographers Lisa Garber and Jenn Stilley will be covering the EPL Series’ 4th Event, the Davis Memorial Cup. The Event takes place at Hematomas Paintball this weekend July17 – 18th in Chocowinity, NC. PBUprising photographers will be on location with free photos just for the players.

Regulator Paintball Recaps The EPL Action Town Classic

On June 6, 2010, Regulator Paintball took the field at The EPL Action
Town Classic. The day was smoldering hot! Temperatures topped out at 98
degrees with a heat index of 100 degrees! The 2 Regulator Paintball teams
that participated were The Regulators and The Regulator Kidz. The
Regulators had a terrible day. There was only one game played all day
were there wasn’t an equipment malfunction. The Regulators ended the day
in a disappointed 7th place.

The Regulator Kidz picked up the slack form their sister team going 2 and
2 and narrowly missing the semi-finals. The Kidz showed a lot of heart in
spite of the blistering heat. They are improving each event and will
clear the hurdle into the semi-finals soon. The Regulator Kidz finished
the event in 6th place.
Regulator Paintball would like to thank the referees for their
selflessness. They were on the field all day in the heat and did a great
job. Without referees, we have no paintball.

The Regulators Recap The EPL Firstcall Challenge

On April 25th The Regulators traveled to Gotcha Paintball Complex in
Youngsville, NC to play in the second EPL event of the season. The team
once again came out strong winning their first game. They then proceeded
to drop the next 4 before getting another victory. Unfortunately that win
would last of the day as The Regulators lost the 4 remaining games to
finish a disappointing 6th place.

Despite the less than desired finish the team’s spirits are still high as
glimpses of their true talent continue to show. The Regulators are more
determined than ever going into the next event eager to try to put it all
together and play to their full potential. The next EPL event with be the
Action Town Classic on June 6th at The Swamp in Gloucester, VA.

The Regulator Kidz Firstcall Challenge Recap

On Sunday March 25th 2010 The Regulator Kidz attend their second EPL
event, The First Call Challenge at Gotcha Paintball. Again it was an
action packed day of great competition and unbelievable sportsmanship.
Everyone in the EPL South is a great bunch of people. The team has made
some good friends the past two events and hope to keep in contact with all
of these people in the future. As for the team’s performance, The
Regulator Kidz won 4 of 8 games. Beating out two teams two games in a row,
the team went on to win the third win for both of those teams, as well
losing to two teams in a row. The Regulator Kidz where given their third
loss by both of those teams. We placed 5th for the event. Overall it was
teams best finish of the season!

The Regulators Attend Their First Ever EPL Event

The Regulators entered their 3rd full season with tons hope and optimism.

The team was forced to leave The CFOA due to scheduling conflicts. The team made their EPL debut at The Old Dominion Open on March 21, 2010. The team came equipped with new equipment from their sponsors, new jerseys, new attitudes, and new expectations. The Regulators played and won the first game of the day. It appeared that this was going to be a good day.

The team dropped 7 of their next nine games to finish a disappointing 5th place. The EPL was a different experience for the team. All in all, The EPL proved to be well run, well reffed, and most teams conducted themselves with class. The team will be back in action on April 25, 2010 at The EPL Firstcall Challenge at the Gotcha Paintball Complex.

The Regulator Kidz Make Their 5-Man Tournament Debut
The Regulator Kidz attended the Old Dominion Open on Sunday March, 21st.
The team went 4-6 in the preliminaries. The preliminary performance was good enough to get the team into the quarter-finals as the 7th Seed. The Regulator Kidz lost 2 of 3 games in quarter-finals. The team finished the event in a respectable 7th place. The team was able to keep their nerves in check and stayed focused, win or lose. Most of the teams in the D-5 division had great attitudes. No one on the team can remember a game they didn’t get a “good game” handshake. Overall, The Regulator Kidz first 5-Man tournament experience was nothing but positive. The team looks forward to their next event. The Regulator Kidz will be back in The EPL to play in the Firstcall Challenge at the Gotcha Paintball Complex on April, 25.
